Movie Review: Fifty Shades Darker

Daunted by the singular tastes and dark secrets of the handsome, tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle Independent Publishing House (SIP); but desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Anastasia cannot resist. They rekindle their searing sexual affair, and Anastasia learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven and demanding Fifty Shades. While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her, and make the most important decision of her life.

Way better then the first one. Aside from a lot of hot and steamy scenes, Christian actually shows why he is , and how he's changing. This film was stylish, sexy and more edgy than the first. Despite of its sloppy production, it is still watchable for those who are curious on how the famous book was adapted into a film. I personally miss seeing  Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in big screen and  that is an enough reason for me to watch this. And in fairness there still a lot of followers of this film, including students inside the cinema where I watch that are all got excited after seeing the teaser of the Fifty Shades Freed after the end credits.

My Verdict: 3.5/5
