Alfad,
a Lumad whose soul returns to his homeland to settle unfinished
businesses and to finally rest. It is based on the Lumad’s belief that
when a person dies his soul goes back to his homeland.
Pinakita
ng movie na ito ang culture and one of the folk story of Mindanao in which
hindi na pa natatacle sa isang film. This is a silent film so you should not
close your eyes while watching this as each scene is important. If there is one
thing that I can commend in the film is the production design dahil effort talaga
sila sa upang lumabas na maganda ang eksena at para makmukhang painting yung
ilan sa mga eksena. Screenplay is also good in the film. Personally hindi ko
naintindihan yung film I just appreciate the good visuals of the scenery and
kind of an out of the box scenes. If you want to appreciate and knows about the
folk story of Mindanao you may consider watching this alternative film.
