Synopsis of the Film
Dennis Trillo topbills the
upcoming independent film helmed by award winning director Brillante Mendoza.
Titled Sapi, the movie tells the story of a group of young filmmakers who are
making a movie about exorcism in the Philippines.
Based on the teaser, the film will follow a group of filmmakers
covering exorcisms and not the possessed people and priests sprinkling holy
water while praying Our Father which has been done a hundred of times in
possessions films.
The film will follow a
journalist (Dennis Trillo) who’s reporting from a scene in which a large group
of students appear to be possessed by evil spirits, and while filming he and
his two companions begin to document various other paranormal activities.

Entertainment, the horror-thriller also stars Meryll Soriano and Baron Geisler.
It is the first of the
five-picture deal between Solar and Brillante, who is also the creative
director of Solar Films.
