Opening Day Cinemalaya

This is the opening day. From work derecho na agad ng ccp. I like the gallery of posters and souvenir materials for the competing films. The poster that I like the most is for the Ang Nawawala. Opening prorgam is cosplaying ng mga indie character so ilan sa mga agaw eksena ay sina aka Mercedes Cabral  of Ligo Na U, Cherry Pie in Foster Child,Rome and Juliet ,Zombadings, Lilia Cuntapay ,Long shot of Lav diaz and others. Pinakita yung mga trailers at pinakilala ang mga directors. Doon ko nalaman na cute pala si direk Lem Lorca and Gino Santos hehe then may dating din si Direk Marie Jamora mas lalo ako na excite sa mga films nila.

      After that program, opening film tribute to Mario Ohara nag opening speech muna si Ms. Laurice Guillen w/c i found out na si Mario pala ang nag push sa kanya to direk film. Kaloka din yung nag cosplay aka insiang before  Laurice speech.  Gretchen Baretto and Toni Boy was at the theatre na medyo mailap sa mga tao. Grecthen was identified as one of the character in princess and I ng mga tao she was called Ashi Miyati. 2^nd time to watch this film at mas na appreciate ko iyong movie this time. Dito ko nalaman na dito nag start si Alchris Galura when he was a kid kasama pala siya sa cast dito. Then this is the launching film as well of Katherine Luna and Kristoffer King  which delivers natural acting. Mahuhusay na sila kahit baguhan lang at may potential talaga. May pagka musical di yun movie at konting comedy. The movie shows whats  the life of people living in breakwater and it shows that there is still hope in life, maganda yung movie.
